2007 Ankeny Area Parade of Homes Guidelines
July 21 & 22 and July 28 & 29

I wish to enter the 2007 Ankeny Area Parade of Homes and hereby agree to abide by the following guidelines:

1. My home is new, has never been occupied, and will be open for public viewing during ALL Show hours. I understand the hours will be 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
2. I agree to have my home open and ready for showing 15 minutes prior to Show opening each day. Homes will be kept open and manned by appropriate hosts during ALL Show hours. I understand that it is very important to have a representative present at the home during all Show hours.
3. I agree to carry liability insurance on each of my Show homes for the duration of the event. I understand that a copy of this certificate of insurance is a requirement of entry and that the certificate will be submitted prior to the Show.
4. I understand that the ABA will supply me with adequate signage for the Show, and I will be notified as to where and when I may collect my signs.
5. I agree that my home will not be occupied until the Show is over. If the home is sold prior to the closing of the Show, the owner may not have access to the home until after the Show closing date.
6. I am entering the 2007 Ankeny Area Parade of Homes and any appropriate non-refundable entry fees will accompany my entry form.
7. I understand that I am encouraged to promote the subcontractors, suppliers and others who have helped in the construction of my Show home. I also understand that I can allow my suppliers and subcontractors who have worked on the home to display their materials and information in the home.
8. I understand that I am allowed to furnish all or part of the home to make it more presentable to the public.
9. I agree to keep the home clean and in a presentable condition during the Show hours. I understand there will be no construction activity during the Show hours.
10. I understand that the home does not need to be 100% complete, but should be in a showable condition to the public.
11. I agree to have my home construction in workmanlike manner and in accordance with all recognized codes, ordinances and restrictive covenants.
12. I agree to exhibit my home in compliance with the guidelines established for the Ankeny Area Parade of Homes and any other regulations that subsequently may be adopted by the Ankeny Building Association.
13. I understand that each of my homes entered in the Show will be included in a printed program that the ABA will be responsible for producing and distributing. I agree to submit the necessary information to the ABA for this publication by the deadline given.
14. I understand that the ABA will be responsible for providing adequate advertising and other promotional efforts to assure maximum attendance during the Show.
15. I understand that the ABA will provide other necessary services, etc. as needed to produce and promote the Show.
16. I understand the following material must be submitted to the ABA by June 11, 2007 for entry in the Show:
    • Completed "Ankeny Area Parade of Homes Entry Form" for each home entered
    • Appropriate entry fees
